• Ray, a resident of Marple for over 30 years, is married to Lilian and they have raised two children, both now grown up and married themselves.

• Ray has been involved at different times over the years with Marple Athletic JFC, Marple Ridge PTA, keep fit classes, Brabyns Tennis Club, Secretary of Stockport Cystic Fibrosis Branch, and for a number of years played Father Christmas at Peacefield Primary School, until 'sussed' by a neighbour's son!

• Ray has over 25 years experience as a Mortgage and Financial Advisor, offering long-term ongoing commitment. His qualifications include certified membership of the Personal Finance Society and Association of Mortgage Advisors with certified Chartered Insurance Institution Mortgage Professionals Certificate.
